No Fear of The Storm by Tim Lahaye

Christians Will Escape All The Tribulation
Tribulation- a cause of great trouble or
Kept from the Hour
In this chapter the author talks about the
mystery being revealed in 1Thessalonians 4:13-18 and 1Corinthians 15:51-54 on the promise that the church of Jesus Christ
will not pass through the Tribulation period. He goes on to say that this is one of the reasons why the Bible calls the Rapture
the Blessed Hope. Many believers have realized that becoming a Christian does not save them from going trials and tribulations
that all men must face from time to time. The Church has a history of martyrs who suffered one way or another, persecutions
during the first three centuries of the church and in this century. Many of whom were godly people who lived dedicated lives.
Nonetheless, persecution led to their untimely deaths. It is for that reason that when Christians discover that the rapture
of the church will occur prior to the Tribulation that will try the whole earth, they often respond in two ways:
1. “It’s too good to be true!”
2. “I don’t deserve to suffer."
The Apostle Peter warned Christians they
would suffer (1Peter 4:12-13). Jesus even told us that we would have trials and tribulations but to take heart because we
are overcomers. This is serious business and as Christians we cannot continue to bury our heads in the sand and act like it
is just a myth because the foretold prophecies of the bible are real. The author says that one of the best promises guaranteeing
the church’s rapture before the Tribulation appears in Revelation 3:10. As you read it, keep in mind that this is one
of our lord’s promises.
Because you have kept My command to
persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon all the whole world, to test those who will dwell
on the earth (Revelation 3:10, emphasis added). How many of you as Christians are preparing your selves for what is to come?
God has given us this time and the forewarnings so that we might prepare ourselves. It behooves us to take the time to learn
all that we can because we will have no excuses for not knowing. It’s like touching a hot stove and you get burnt after
your mom warned you not to. Think about how the Holy Ghost warns us of impending danger and you just walk right into it because
you ignored the warning. Let’s be more focused and aware of our surroundings. Amen
